A IMPORTÂNCIA DE APRENDER INGLÊS NOS PAÍSES EM DESENVOLVIMENTO
Aprender ingles no mercado atual é de importância incontestável. A lingua inglesa, hoje ensinada nas redes publicas de ensino vem ao encontro das necessidades do mercado de trabalho que a cada dia está mais globalizado.
Segundo os estudos mais recentes, a maioria dos profissionais que atuam no mercado de trabalho privado possuem uma formação em Lingua Inglesa e fazem uso desta formação para o seu dsenvolvimento e crescimento profissional.

O mercado prefere quem sabe inglês Temos dito com freqüência, com base em pesquisas r ealizadas em momentos diferentes, que a fluência na língua inglesa apresenta forte influência na remuneração dos executivos. Os novos dados obtidos a partir da análise comparativa de quatro edições da Pesquisa Salarial do Grupo Catho, interpretadas pelo matemático Renato Scher, corroboram essa informação.
Dos 19.620 respondentes, 37,6% afirmaram falar fluentemente (ainda que com alguns erros) o inglês. Para determinar o que representa, em termos de remuneração, foram cruzadas as informações referentes aos cargos de presidentes e diretores – o resultado é de que executivos na posição de presidentes que falam fluentemente o inglês ganham até 44,5% a mais do que os que falam com alguns erros, e diretores com fluência 32,2% a mais do que os que não têm fluência. Infere-se daí que errar, em inglês, pode significar perto de 20% a menos na remuneração.

History of the English Language
The figure below shows the timeline of the history of the English language. The earliest known residents of the British Isles were the Celts, who spoke Celtic languages—a separate branch of the Indo-European language family tree. Over the centuries the British Isles were invaded and conquered by various peoples, who brought their languages and customs with them as they settled in their new lives. There is now very little Celtic influence left in English. The earliest time when we can say that English was spoken was in the 5th century CE (Common Era—a politically correct term used to replace AD).
In case you hadn’t made the connection, “England” <– “Engla Land” <– “Angle Land” (Land of the Angles, a people of northern old Germany). Their name lives on in the district of England named East Anglia, and also in the Anglican Church. In the present day there is still a region of Germany known as Angeln, which is likely the same area from which the original Angles came. Angeln lies in Schleswig-Holstein on the eastern side of the Jutland peninsula near the cities of Flensburg and Schleswig.
